Goal

Merge transformed primitives into one mesh, then assign distinct Principled BSDF materials to each body section.

Required Alphabet

Steps

  1. 1Open or recreate the snowman scene from course lessons 15–23.
  2. 2Build three scaled spheres with Transform Geometry — small head, medium body, large base.
  3. 3Join Geometry into one output mesh.
  4. 4Create three materials with different Base Color and Roughness values.
  5. 5Use Set Material nodes (or material index) to assign snow, coal, and scarf zones.
  6. 6Apply Set Shade Smooth and preview in Material Preview mode.

Expected Result

A joined snowman mesh with three readable material zones and a clean node tree framed for study.

Atlas Logos Application

Material splitting on the snowman mirrors tabernacle fabric vs bronze assignments and stone vs plaster on Jerusalem facades.
